Steel Reactors, Epoxy?

I remember reading on here someone recommended coating steel vessels in some sort of epoxy or resin coating, to avoid the steel being degraded from acids, bases, a general layer of normative coating that will make a chemists life easier.

Is there anything like that people can recommend specifically? Like a brand name or chemical make up?

I can't recommend anything I've ever tried. Which is epoxy resins and uv resins. They don't stand up worth a damn. I couldn't find a stir bar the other month so I took a piece of steel bar stock, tiny stuff, 1/16", and coated it in uv resinvto make one. I was just distilling some chloroform. Didn't hold up. Ruined the chloroform. Thried the same thing when distilling some methanol, same result. There must be some special stuff formulated just for this application

Frit BuchnerI saw several Teflon coatings offered online, but they all needed curing at a temp that I would not be able to reach, iirc.

I'll keep looking though. It's not super important, but I've always liked the idea of building my own distillation/ simple reaction vessel (not a batch reactor, more like a three neck round bottom, but steel and not round bottom). This is more about seeing if it is possible.

CryoThio3M produces a wonderful red coating, fluorinated polymer paint for industrial reactors at temperatures up to 140 degrees, but is afraid of hot concentrated sulfuric acid. The Chinese have an analogue - PVA coating paint (also fluorinated plastic), but the temperature is up to 110 degrees. The downside of these paints is that you need to prepare the steel for application, apply a primer, and after applying the fluorinated paint, the reactor needs to be baked in a thermostat under certain conditions. Among simple paints, there are various mixtures of fluorinated sticks in solvents, but the strength and durability of such coatings is the worst.
