Is it normal or need to be more dry?

Anyway 0.5gr depends of how much was the initial amount.

But MS can be left and even continues to work in the freezer. Also when you open the jug and use some, atmospheric air enters and it's not anhydrous anymore but this is a sort of false flag because a few cc's of 50%rh room temperature air only holds about 1 drop of water max. And yes it does react with a couple of things, but I don't use it so I don't know what off the top of my head

A question on distilled water pH.

I know, all the distilled water that I buy is slightly alkali, mostly 7.5, sometimes 8.0.

Normally I adjust pH during acidation as 3.0-5.0. Then wash with acetone and OK.

But when I do final crystallization, I noticed pH falls down to 6.0-8.0. Does it make sense to adjust pH in final solution with a few drops of HCl? Or such alkali water doesn't spoil my hydrochloride?

Mr Good Catbut you're overdoing it. I recommend that you study the basics of chemistry before asking the question. at 8.0 or at 9.0 it won't convert the salt into a free base for goodness sake.
