Can I get some eyes on these crystals?

Whats this look like to you? I did a couple things. I heated ammonium chloride and formaldehyde with an alihn condenser and 110° turndown vacuum fitting on top and vacuum pump for a few hours and let it cool and filtered it. Then I distilled the liquid under vacuum for a couple hours and condensed the distillate and let it cool and filtered it. Then I condensed and filtered it a couple more times. I took filtrates#3-5 and refluxed them in methanol that I distilled twice from a jug of windshield washer fluid, for 30 minutes and hot filtered it 2 times. I let it get cold in the freezer, filtered the crystals off and Then I rinsed them with the liquid I distilled from the bottom of 3 jugs of bleach with 60ml of acetone in them left outside overnight and decanted. I took some ethyl acetate, and dissolved some 2-b-4-mp in it, then added the crystals from the previous discussion and 2.63 grams of NaOH and 100ml of water. I heated it toward 60°c for about 30 minutes. Then I distilled it under vacuum until there was very little liquid left. Then I added some acetone and hydrochloric acid until my ph papers looked like 5 on the booklet. I put it in the freezer for a long time. This is just my rough recollection of what happened. When I came back this was at the bottom of the liquid. I've never seen this particular thing before. Never smelled it. Never tasted it. This wouldn't dissolve in absolute acetone or absolute iso.

It definitely isn't any of the things I put in the flask in the beginning. It doesn't smell like ammonia and definitely not like 2-b-4-mp thank God, I'll never get that smell out of my nose.
I burnt some, it didn't have a distinct smell. It had a scent but nothing I can put my finger on. The smoke didn't burn my nose or make my eyes water. Does it look like something I should save? What's the next test?

Well fuck, I snorted a pretty sizeable line, about 0.080-0.100 g. It burnt, but not too bad. The right amount based on what I have read. Nothing, no activity. Hr 88 bpm after 15 minutes. I thought it looked good ( not good but right) followed the synths closely....no idea what this is but it doesn't do the thing. Strike 2. 2 failures. I think I must be failing to make methylammonium chloride. Glad I have only tried 5g at a time.
It's pretty disappointing, but I knew teaching myself chemistry was going to be difficult. Back to the drawing board

Did you see the distinct layers before vacuum distill? In EA afaik, it should be very obvious.

I don't even remember, but I should have at least doubled down before tossing it because I smoke meth and crack daily and without being recrystallized a couple of times, 100mg likely wouldn't do anything. You live you learn. Sometimes a person comments on an old post that I commented on and either I am getting dumber or I talk a hell of a game because I teach myself stuff somehow

CaptainSandozI didn't even think to try any reagents in it, buy the melting point was very close to the right number. Within a couple of degrees

CaptainSandozThis is an old thread and that material is long gone, yes I have been testing practically everything with Marquis, it reacts to a lot of drugs and adulterants. The 3 cents it costs is well worth the price. I have some CH³NH²HCL in the freezer I made last week and I would like to run this reaction in a different solvent this time, as I've heard a lot of complaints about EA

This looks very familiar, like the purest, red under light, amphetamine, supposedly, that smells like you just opened the bottle of 1L acetone. I mean is this some kind of wet or smth? Doest it become hard after left to dry in a space bag with some scratches on the bad to be able to dry good? And not to make you paranoid or smth but in Breaking Bad they made Ricin it looks kinda the same

The "pure" amphetamine here smells like acetone. If possible make it in a little soft or solid rock and put it under phone flashlight
