help! my stopper is stuck in my flask

a glass stopper is stuck in a joint in my boiling flask after a reflux. for the life of me i can't pull it out, and i don't want to break anything. there was some silicone based lubricant that was put between the inside of the female joint and the male stopper before refluxing.

any advice on how to remove it? all the glass involved is borosilicate.

let it cool fully, if its still giving you trouble you can try freezing and in the extreme case it dosen't move just torch the joint until red and let cool

might it be a problem when freezing the flask if there's some residue from the synth between the male and female joints?

In such cases, I warm it slightly, and tap lightly with a wood to make the plug too loose.
