Hi together,

the last time I have bought sulfuric acid was about 2 years ago, where you could buy it almost everywhere without special permissions. It was shortly before it was classified as a hazardous substance in Europe.
Most online chemical distributors require an end-use statement.

So where can I buy amounts from 1-5l sulfuric acid with <95% purity??
Does someone has a clearnet/darknet market, where sulfuric acid and other chemical goods are offered?

95% purity sulfuric acid is not technical grade. It's not "most" distributors that require an end user statement it is all of them. You just won't be able to buy this unless you buy it as a business and declare a legitimate use for it.

Some drain cleaners contain low-grade sulfuric acid which you can extract and concentrate to your desired concentration. Do note however that boiling concentrated sulfuric acid is no joke since you need to do this in temperatures over 300 °C.

As for a marketplace you can use this forum to buy goods. If you really need it you can direct message me and I could send you some.

whatever sulfuric acid you get it may come with some contamination, drain cleaners are often contaminated. it should be clear and be heavier than water. to ensure purity you can use a distillation apparatus. firstly to remove any water, second to distill over the acid and leave contaminants

Hi,
you will not find any legal source selling sulfuric acid over 14,9% in the EU no matter where you look.

If you need a higher concentration than that you can either use the 14,9% stuff which you can easily buy in large quantities and in a lot of different stores over the counter and online and concentrate it or get the stuff through other channels.

Concentrating sulfuric acid up to 70% is a piece of cake and will only require very basic glassware... Anything above 70% should only be done with some safety precautions, proper Equipment and basic knowledge/experience. Concentrated boiling sulfuric acid is some nasty stuff, trust me one that one.

Hello,
There is drain cleaner that is 97% sulphuric acid. 1l costs under €5. Set VPN to Lithuania and google "sieros rūgštis valiklis". Not sure where you live and not sure if they will
send it to you but worth having a look. I had a look at indregients and it certainly is 97% sulphuric acid.
